High Pressure Water Jetters

A high-pressure water jetter clears blockages with a directed water stream instead of a rotating cable — the tool of choice for grease, scale, sand and root intrusion in lines that a cable machine can only scrape. THAIMAKE builds jetters from 1500 PSI to 4000 PSI for plumbing contractors, municipal cleaning crews and rental fleets, with gasoline or electric drive. In North America this unit is just as often called a sewer jetter; a buyer searching for a sewer jetter, a water jetting unit or a pipe cleaning machine is describing the same category of equipment.

Pressure Range and What It Clears

Our jetters cover 1500 PSI to 4000 PSI. As general selection guidance — confirm the exact pressure and flow of the model you are buying with our factory:

  • 1500–2000 PSI — small residential branch lines, lavatory, kitchen and shower drains, and surface washing.
  • 2500–3000 PSI — 2 in. to 4 in. building mains, grease lines and restaurant service.
  • 3500–4000 PSI — 4 in. to 6 in. municipal and commercial lines, root cutting and heavy scale.

Flow rate matters as much as pressure: pressure breaks the blockage, flow carries the debris out. Tell us your pipe diameters and typical blockage type and we will specify the combination.

Drive Options

Both gasoline and electric motor options are available. Gasoline suits sites without reliable mains power — municipal crews, roadside and outdoor work. Electric suits indoor and enclosed work where exhaust and noise are a problem, and where a fixed power supply is available.

Typical Applications

  • Municipal sewer and storm line maintenance
  • Restaurant and commercial kitchen grease lines
  • Residential and multi-unit building main lines
  • Pre-inspection pipe cleaning before CCTV survey
  • Surface washing — equipment, yards and paved areas

Nozzles, Hoses and Spare Parts

Jetting performance depends on the nozzle: a forward jet penetrates, rear jets pull the hose through the line and scour the pipe wall. We supply the matching nozzles and hoses as service parts — see our parts & accessories range, and our cables and flexible shafts for cable-machine work.

Built for Continuous Duty

Every jetter uses a heavy-duty pump specified for long service intervals, in a compact, portable frame that one operator can load and position. Units are tested before packing. OEM/ODM orders can specify your brand color, logo, nozzle kit and packaging.

How a Water Jetter Clears a Line

A jetter pressurises water and drives it through a hose into the pipe. The nozzle does the work: a forward jet cuts into the blockage while rear-facing jets pull the hose down the line and scour the pipe wall clean. Because the water leaves the pipe carrying the debris with it, a jetter removes grease, scale, sand and roots rather than only opening a channel through them — which is why crews jet a line before a CCTV survey.

Cable Machine or Water Jetter?

Both clear drains, but they solve different problems. Use this as a starting point:

  • Cable machine — cutting and retrieving solid obstructions (roots, hard scale) in branch and main lines up to about 6 in.; the standard tool in a plumber’s service van.
  • Water jetter — flushing soft and semi-solid build-up (grease, sludge, sand, silt) and restoring full pipe diameter; the tool for grease lines, storm drains and pre-survey cleaning.

Many contractors carry both. If you are not sure which a job needs, tell us the blockage type and pipe size and we will advise.

Jetter FAQ

What is the difference between a sewer jetter and a drain cleaning machine?
A sewer jetter clears a pipe with a high-pressure water stream; a drain cleaning machine clears it with a rotating cable and cutter. Jetters are chosen for grease, sludge and silt, cable machines for roots and hard obstructions.

What pressure do I need?
As a guide: 1500–2000 PSI for small residential branch lines, 2500–3000 PSI for 2–4 in. building mains and grease lines, and 3500–4000 PSI for 4–6 in. municipal and commercial lines. Confirm the exact rating of the model with our factory.

Should I choose gasoline or electric drive?
Gasoline suits outdoor work and sites without mains power; electric suits indoor and enclosed work where exhaust and noise are a problem.

Can I order a jetter under my own brand?
Yes. OEM/ODM orders can specify brand color, logo, nozzle kit and packaging.
